2022 3V3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT
Thank you for registering for our 3v3 Basketball tournament. It will be held on the 26th of November, 2022 and at the Taggart Parkes Family BGC Clubhouse - The Homestead Gymnasium, 1770 Heatherington Road, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Maximum of 6 players per team.
Patrons are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to enter the venue. Masks are not mandatory but please respect everyone's decision to either wear a mask or not. Regardless, please follow all signange and protocols of the venue.
Please arrive at 5:30pm on the 26th to sign in and get settled as the first game starts at 6:00pm.
Here are the things we will provide:
- Standard 3v3 half courts and hoops
- Team Pinnies and standard sized basketball balls
- A referee and First-Aid personnel
- Refreshments for all basketball players
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals would be awarded to the top 3 teams respectively. An MVP trophy will be given to the player of the tournament and $1000 will be awarded to the winning team.
The 16 teams are split into 4 groups with teams in each group playing a minimum of 3 games. The top 2 teams in each group advance to a knockout quater-final round.
The Group Games are 15 minutes or first to 15 points with a 1 minute time out for both teams. The Quater Final Games will be 20 minutes with or first to 21 points with a 5 minute break and a 1 minute time out for both teams. The Semi Final Games will be 20 minutes long with a 5 minute break and a 1 minute time out for both teams. The Final and Third Place games will be 30 minutes long with a 5 minute break and two 1 minute time out for both teams.

Important notice re COVID-19: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event. We encourage you to follow VIBE's safety policies, as well as the City of Ottawa's laws and restrictions. Masks of face coverings are mandatory except while playing.
Note: If only 8 teams register, all the prizes excluding medals and trophies are cut in half. Hence, the grand prize will be $500. If 8 teams do not register, the tournament will be canceled and registered teams will get their money back.
