2022 INDOOR SOCCER TOURNAMENT
Thank you for registering for our annual indoor soccer tournament. It will be held on the 7th of May, 2022 and at the Ben Fraklin Super Dome, 191 Knoxdale Road, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Patrons are no longer required to show proof of vaccination or identification to enter the dome. Masks are mandatory until each player and coaching staff is on the field and on again, once off the field to exit the facility.
Spectators are required to wear masks at all times. Persons not respecting or following protocol will be asked to leave the dome or put a mask on. Please follow all signange and protocols in the Superdome.
Please arrive at 3:30pm to sign in and get settled as the first game starts at 4pm.
Here are the things we will provide:
- Standard 8v8 turf field and nets
- Team Pinnies and standard sized soccer balls
- A referee and First-Aid personnel
- Refreshments for all soccer players
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals would be awarded to the top 3 teams respectively. An MVP trophy will be given to the player of the tournament and $2000 will be awarded to the winning team.
The 16 teams are split into 4 groups with teams in each group playing a minimum of 2 games. The top 2 teams in each group advance to a knockout quater-final round.
Group games will be 30 minutes long with a 5 minute half time break. The Quater Final Games will be 35 minutes long with a 5 minute half time break. The Semi Final Games will be 40 minutes long with a 10 minute half time break. The Final and Third Place games will be 40 minutes long with a 10 minute half time break.
