DISCLAIMER

Changes can be made to this policy as it is not “set in stone” on this 17th day of March, 2022. When changes are made to this policy, customers and partners will be informed a week prior to the new/updated policy’s effective date.

GENERAL INFORMATION

All delivery orders must be logged at least 24 hours in advance. Same day delivery orders will be subject to an additional fee determined by the scheduled delivery driver for that day/area and is not guaranteed. 

DELIVERY LOCATION

We only accept orders that are a maximum 45 minutes from the pick-up location(s) agreed upon. If two pick up locations are given, the closest one to the first delivery location would be seen as a delivery location and be charged as such.

DELIVERY TIME

An estimated pick-up time will be given to the business owner or warehouse manager when the driver is on their way to the pick up location. Furthermore, if applicable, an estimated delivery-time will be given to the customer after item(s)/package(s) have been picked up.

DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS

Driver will make every effort to fulfill the delivery service at the drop-off location. However, if after all options are exhausted and the customer was unable to receive their item(s)/package(s), the full price of delivery would have to be paid for the driver to return with the item(s)/package(s). The return time will be based on the driver’s delivery schedule for the day. Additionally, if all attempts to reach the customer and deliver item(s)/packages(s) fail, the item(s)/package(s) shall be returned to the pick-up location. This return time, as above stated, will be based on the driver’s delivery schedule for the day.

DELIVERY FEES

Due to the increase in Gas prices in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, we will only be using our Holiday/Special Day Prices from the 24th of March 2022 till further notice.

NOTE:

• We reserve the right to decline orders that are more than 35 minutes away from the pick up location. Companies are to inform us of these orders that are more than 35 minutes away to get our availability for them
• The prices above are for a single package/item. Multiple packages are charged the delivery fee and half of the delivery fee for each additional package. However, if the items/packages are small and do not present an insurance risk, then they can be seen as a single item/package.
• Please contact us for a quote for a bulk or furniture delivery. This would be subject to distance, number of items and driver availability.
• Delivery drivers will only wait a maximum of 10 minutes at a delivery location before leaving if a customer fails to respond or give instructions on an alternative delivery location.
• New delivery locations will be charged as a new delivery, will follow the same metric fees and will be up to the driver to deliver at their own convenience.
• A second delivery attempt will be charged as a new delivery, will follow the same metric fees and will be up to the driver to deliver at their own convenience.
• A return to the pick up location will not have any fees charged to the vendor/business but the return delivery time will be up to the driver as they are entitled to deliver at their own convenience.

DAMAGED ITEMS IN TRANSPORT

If there is any damage to item(s)/package(s) during transport, they will be returned to the pick-up location. VDeliver will be liable and pay the retail price of damaged item(s)/packages(s).

INVOICES AND PAYMENT

The Invoice for the delivery services rendered for the week will be sent out to the business’s email every Thursday at 2pm and balance owed will be due at 10pm the same Thursday.
