We are looking for a Business Research who will be in charge of vetting and researching on potential black-owned companies that will be featured on the company’s platform. You will ensure they will be a good reflection of VIBE, its image and the goals trying to be achieved. These black-owned companies must possess good customer service and support as well as good quality service(s) and items. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Vet and assess potential businesses that would be featured
• Suggest potential businesses that could be featured
• Analyze research requests and define the best approach to successfully complete them
• Gather data, verify it for accuracy, and package it in a structured and easily digestible manner
• Assess existing research sources and data collection strategies, while coming up with suggestions when possible
• Collaborate with creative and finance team on the status of your work
• Use your creativity and expertise to support VIBE's internal development projects

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to analyze a problem, ask relevant questions, and think outside-of-the-box
• Past experience in business research, consulting or data analysis is a plus
• You are at ease when working with figures and concepts that include modeling or correlation analysis
• You are a creative self-starter that appreciates working in an entrepreneurial environment
• Enjoy collaborating with people and working in teams
• Proven Business Research Analysis experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Adequate knowledge of data collection methods (polls, focus groups, surveys etc.)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking
• BS degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing or related field is an asset
