2023 Indoor Soccer Tournament
Thank you for registering for our 5th semi-annual indoor soccer tournament. It will be held on the 6th of May, 2023 at The Ben Franklin Dome, 191 Knoxdale Road, Ottawa, ON.
Patrons are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to enter the venue. Masks are not mandatory but please respect everyone's decision to either wear a mask or not. Regardless, please follow all signage and protocols of the venue.
Please arrive at 12:00pm to sign in and get settled as the first game starts at 1:00pm.
Here are the things we will provide:
- Standard 8v8 turf field and nets
- Team Vests and standard sized soccer balls
- A referee and First-Aid personnel
- Refreshments for all soccer players
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals would be awarded to the top 3 teams respectively. Awards for Best Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Forward & MVP trophies will be given to the top players of the tournament. The Grand Prize of the tournament is $2000 with second place receiving $550 and third place receiving $275.
The 16 teams are split into 4 groups with teams in each group playing a minimum of 3 games. The top 2 teams in each group advance to a knockout quarter-final round.
Group and Quarter final games will be 30 minutes long with a 5 minute half time break.
Semi final games will be 40 minutes long with a 5 minute half time break and the Final & Third place games will be 45 minutes long with a 5 minute half time break

Important notice re COVID-19: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at the event. We encourage you to follow VIBE's safety policies, as well as the City of Ottawa's laws and restrictions. Masks of face coverings are mandatory except while playing.
Note: If only 8 teams register, all the cash prizes will be reduced by approximately 50%. Hence, the Grand prize will be $1000, Second place prize will be $250 and Third place price will be $125. However, if the 8 teams decide together on another means to share the prize pot, we will go with that. Lastly, if 8 teams do not register, the tournament will be canceled and registered teams will get their money back.
